Composite Strap Saddles For Water (PN-16)
Technica DI SS Strap Saddles, Manufactured in MDPE 80 (Blue) Grade with threaded metal insert outlets with service connection threading size conforming to IS: 554. The Saddles are of wrap-around design, with wide skirt and wide straps support and are rated PN 16. The saddles are suitable for tapping on DI and CI Pipes. Saddle body is fastened to the pipe with SS straps and nut-bolt system. The straps are EPDM type for firm grip on pipes and to avoid metal to metal contact. The sealing between the saddle and the mains is obtained by using a profiled EPDM seal matching to the curvature of the pipe. The service connection outlet of metal insert projects out towards the pipe side and aligns with the hole drilled on the pipe to ensure positive locking against rocking or creeping on the pipe.
